Brake nipple
QSP Products has a wide range of brake fittings and brake hoses. A brake fitting is often used to connect your clutch system or braking system. With us you will find a variety of brake fittings and pipework to seal the oil system.
Pipe gland
A common fitting used on vehicles and cars are the pipe fittings. These swivels are used in, for example, the master brake cylinder or brake caliper. This pipe gland is suitable for use in combination with a cunifer brake line or copper brake line. Before you can mount the brake line to this brake nipple, you must make a cone on the brake line. You can also make gradients to a different size with the various connecting pieces and gradients that we have in our range. You can recognize these products by the brass color on this page.
Stainless steel brake nipple
In addition to brake fittings made of steel or brass, we also have a wide range of stainless steel materials. Our product range includes the stainless steel brake nipple, stainless steel adapter, stainless steel banjo, stainless steel grommet, stainless steel banjo bolt or a stainless steel T-piece. These stainless steel brake fittings are often mounted in competition cars to create a clutch system or braking system. The cunifer or copper brake line is then dismantled and replaced with the stainless steel brake line. With a stainless steel brake hose you are free to determine how the brake hose should run in the vehicle. The stainless steel brake hose is particularly flexible due to the use of a Teflon / PTFE core and stainless steel outer jacket. The use of these materials makes the stainless steel brake hose very easy to install.
Mounting brake nipple
In addition to the advantages of flexibility, attaching stainless steel fittings is also very easy. Assembly is easy to do without the use of various devices or machines, but requires precision. By sliding the cap over the hose and sliding the brass bush, which is supplied with every stainless steel hose gland or banjo, over the Teflon, the brake fitting can be easily mounted on the hose. The next step is to insert the brake fitting into the Teflon and tighten the cap. Once you have done this, the fitting is actually already attached to the hose. This also directly answers the question why this system is often used on competition cars. If a brake hose is broken or damaged, it can be repaired quickly and easily.
